Services Agreement

This Services Agreement explains the terms governing our construction estimating services, including project delivery, payment terms, revisions, confidentiality, pricing, and client responsibilities.

1. Turnaround Time

Our standard turnaround time is 24 to 48 business hours after your quotation has been accepted and payment has been received. Delivery schedules may vary depending on project size, trade scope, drawing quality, and overall complexity. If additional drawings or revisions are submitted, delivery times may be adjusted accordingly.

2. Payment Terms

A detailed quotation will be provided before work begins. Full payment is required before the estimating process starts unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept secure online payments through approved payment methods.

3. Revisions

Minor revisions for clarification are provided at no additional cost. Revisions resulting from updated drawings, design changes, additional scope, or client-requested modifications after completion may require additional charges.

4. Refund Policy

Since every estimate is prepared specifically for your project, work begins shortly after payment confirmation. Refund requests can only be considered before work has started. Once estimating has commenced or the completed estimate has been delivered, payments are non-refundable.

5. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

We understand the confidential nature of construction projects. Upon request, DFE Estimating is happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before reviewing your project documents. Unless written permission is provided, project drawings, specifications, estimates, company names, logos, and project information will remain confidential and will never be used for marketing purposes.

6. Pricing Disclaimer

Our construction estimates are prepared using current market pricing, supplier quotations, RSMeans data where applicable, and industry-standard estimating software. Material costs, labor rates, taxes, and supplier pricing may change over time. Clients should verify pricing before purchasing materials or signing construction contracts.

7. Estimate Accuracy

Every estimate is carefully reviewed before delivery. While we strive for maximum accuracy, clients remain responsible for reviewing quantities, pricing, project scope, and final bid submissions before use.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing complete construction drawings, specifications, addenda, project revisions, and all relevant project information. Incomplete or outdated information may affect the accuracy of the estimate.

9. Limitation of Liability

DFE Estimating provides professional estimating services based on the information supplied by the client. Our total liability for any claim shall never exceed the total amount paid for the estimating service provided.
